ECFA 2026
How players are ranked
There are two leaderboards, and they matter equally. Ranking Points reward pushing into harder charts and passing them well. Timing Rank ranks players by Timing Power: how accurately they play across every block, which asks you to play at least half of each block's charts to earn all of it.
Your overall standing adds your two ranks together: 5th in Timing Rank and 3rd in Ranking Points makes 8. The lowest total ranks first; a tie goes to whoever has the better of their two ranks, then to Ranking Points. Some players will lean toward one board more than the other, and that's the point.
Ranking Points
Every chart is worth a set number of points. Your best 100 charts add up to your Ranking Points.
You earn a chart's points by passing it (surviving at least the Easy lifebar), and the share you earn grows with your Waterfall score:
| Score | Share of the chart's points |
|---|---|
| 100% | 100.0% |
| 99% | 96.0% |
| 98% | 92.6% |
| 97% | 89.5% |
| 95% | 84.6% |
| 92% | 79.3% |
| 88% | 75.0% |
| 75% | 70.0% |
share% = log₁.₀₆₃₈₂₁₅(min(S, 75) + 1) + 31^(max(0, S − 75) / 25) − 1
What charts are worth
A chart's points start at 1,000 × (block − 6) and go up with its speed, tech and bursts, so the hardest charts in a block can be worth more than the easiest in the next. Each chart's title starts with its points.
| Block | Charts | Points |
|---|---|---|
| 7 | 8 | 1,105 – 1,588 |
| 8 | 10 | 2,149 – 2,836 |
| 9 | 10 | 3,209 – 3,743 |
| 10 | 37 | 4,106 – 5,015 |
| 11 | 58 | 5,174 – 6,358 |
| 12 | 43 | 6,370 – 7,352 |
| 13 | 22 | 7,233 – 8,393 |
| 14 | 12 | 8,445 – 9,379 |
Timing Rank and Timing Power
Each block has slots: half of its charts, rounded up. Your best Waterfall scores in the block fill its slots, and each filled slot is worth the block's slot value times your score: a 97.50% in a slot worth 6,000 earns 5,850. Slots you haven't filled are worth nothing, so the full allocation for a block needs that many of its charts played.
Your Timing Power is the total across every block. Slot values grow with the block like chart points do, scaled so that the most Timing Power anyone can have (706,069) matches the most Ranking Points anyone can have.
| Block | Charts | Slots | Slot value | Most for the block |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 7 | 8 | 4 | 1,393 | 5,572 |
| 8 | 10 | 5 | 2,785 | 13,925 |
| 9 | 10 | 5 | 4,178 | 20,890 |
| 10 | 37 | 19 | 5,571 | 105,849 |
| 11 | 58 | 29 | 6,963 | 201,927 |
| 12 | 43 | 22 | 8,356 | 183,832 |
| 13 | 22 | 11 | 9,748 | 107,228 |
| 14 | 12 | 6 | 11,141 | 66,846 |
What counts
- Charts from the event pack, played between the event's start and end, on a cab connected to ECFA Cloud.
- Passes only, at 1.0x rate, on a dance pad, with Waterfall judging (the ECFA theme's only mode).
- Charts marked (No CMOD) can't be played with a CMod. Those plays aren't submitted and never earn points; use an XMod or MMod instead.
- Scores are submitted automatically. Your best score on each chart is what counts.

Three lifebars run at once: Easy, Normal and Hard. You fail when the Easy lifebar runs out; the hardest lifebar still standing at the end decides your lifebar clear.
