Connect ITGmania to ECFA Cloud

Three steps on the machine, then one per player. After that, every passed song you play on a pad is on your profile.

Cab setup (once per machine)

  1. 1

    Install the ECFA theme

    You'll need ITGmania itself first, from its official site, itgmania.com. ECFA Cloud isn't part of ITGmania.

    Download the ECFA theme from GitHub into ITGmania's Themes folder and select it in ITGmania. Every play is judged with Waterfall timing.

  2. 2

    Allow ITGmania to reach ECFA Cloud

    ITGmania only makes network requests to hosts listed in Save/Preferences.ini. Quit the game, set HttpEnabled=1, and add these to the comma-separated HttpAllowHosts list, keeping the hosts already there:

    HttpEnabled=1
    HttpAllowHosts=<existing hosts>,ecfa.online

    ecfa.online is the only host the theme needs. Scores, leaderboards (GrooveStats and ArrowCloud EX scores included) and theme updates all come through ECFA Cloud.

    If this step is skipped, the title screen shows “ECFA Cloud host blocked”.

  3. 3

    Enable ECFA Cloud in the operator menu

    Operator Menu → ECFA Cloud Options → Enable ECFA Cloud. On the title screen you should see ✔ ECFA Cloud in the top-left corner.

Player setup

Pad play only. The ECFA Cloud database is for scores played on a dance pad. Don't link a keyboard or controller setup.

  1. 1

    Create an account

    Sign in with Discord, then pick a username and a 4-character machine tag in Settings.

  2. 2

    Log in on the cab

    Select your local profile, and the theme shows a QR code. Scan it with your phone, approve the link, and the cab receives an API key that is saved to your profile.

    Alternatively, create a key in Settings and put it in ECFACloud.ini in your profile folder (IsPadPlayer=1 confirms you play on a pad):

    [ECFACloud]
    ApiKey=<your 64 character key>
    Username=<your username>
    IsPadPlayer=1
  3. 3

    Play

    Passed songs played on a pad are submitted automatically. You can see the leaderboard in the evaluation screen, in song select (Sort Menu → Leaderboard), and here on the site.
